Le Metal Contest est un concours organisé par l’association Zone51 offrant la possibilité à deux groupes émergents de jouer sur la Tiki Area du Rock Your Brain Fest – Summer Edition.
Les participants transmettent une démo qui sera étudiée par un jury d’experts. Les groupes sélectionnés auront la chance de se produire le dimanche 24 juillet 2022 sur la seconde scène extérieure du Rock Your Brain Fest – Summer Edition : la Tiki Area.
Pour que la candidature soit recevable, le projet musical présenté doit répondre aux critères suivants :
- S’inscrire dans une esthétique metal ;
- Exister depuis moins de 10 ans ;
- Être structuré, par une association par exemple, ou accompagné par une agence de production/booking ;
- Se situer dans un rayon géographique allant jusqu’à 175 km autour de Sélestat (France et régions frontalières).

Metal Contest is a metal competition organised by the association Zone51. Thanks to this challenge, two emerging bands get the opportunity to play on the Tiki Area of the Rock Your Brain Fest – Summer Edition.
A panel of experts analyses demos sent by the participants. The selected bands will have the chance to perform on Sunday 24 July 2022 on the second outdoor stage of the Rock Your Brain Fest – Summer Edition: the Tiki Area.
To be admissible, the musical project must match the following requirements:
- Correspond to a metal style
- Be created less than 10 years ago
- Be structured by an organism (such as an association) or booked by a production agency
- Be located within a geographical radius of up to 175 km around Sélestat / France and border regions.
